residence maximizes the area allowed by city-required setbacks.
the addition provides a large studio and gallery space for
the owner, an artist, as well as additional living space.
the double-height studio features an oversized industrial
roll-up door which permits installation of large artwork
and introduces ample natural light. inside, the studio can
be separated from the living spaces by closing a large bi-fold
